Dear Friends,
I am writing to invite you to the 11th annual Doctor’s Against Hunger, Golf Against Hunger benefiting the Atlanta Community Food Bank. We are planning on another great tournament; while doing our annual worthwhile thing.
For those of you who have played each year, thank you; and please continue to encourage others to join us. For those of you who haven’t been with us for a while…… Let’s get back in the game!!
I have set a pretty lofty goal for this year’s donation and I ask all of your help in meeting it!
Last year we raised $8,852.20 for this great organization feeding people all across Atlanta and the Southeast. This brings our 10 year cash total to $64,694.54 purchasing over $482,435.15 worth of food.
For those of you who participated, again the most heartfelt: Thank you.
This year, once again, we will be holding our event for their benefit. Attached is the information. Please put this event on your calendars. This year’s tournament will be held on Thursday May 15, 2014 at Cobblestone Golf Club in Acworth, Georgia.
We will be holding a 10:00 am shotgun start. The cost remains $150.00 per player. There will be many perks again this year including prizes, contests, giveaways and other “surprises”. Sponsorships are available. Volunteers are always welcome and needed.
